Our Impact

We engaged 3,000+ people, with 80% reporting less isolation (WEMWBS), 90% of 600 students learning about heritage, and 90% of 40 volunteers gaining skills (certificates). Our archive preserves stories about autism, and partnerships with AIUET and schools strengthen community ties. We reduced emissions by 15% using recycled materials.

Thanks to our dedicated team of 75 culturally diverse volunteers, we have been able to deliver:

  • 10 community exhibitions across Manchester
  • Cultural translation and interpretation services for non-English speaking families
  • Archive inclusion in the AIUET (African and Indigenous Urban Education Trust)
  • 2,000+ online viewers of our documentary stories
  • 600 students educated through our school outreach packs

We also supported 50% of our volunteers in achieving certified training in oral history, digital archiving, and community engagement. This upskilling not only strengthens their CVs but builds a sustainable, community-owned model of storytelling and advocacy.

A Movement, Not Just a Project

This isn’t just about autism. It’s about belonging. It’s about bridging the gap between heritage and health, between isolation and empowerment.
